Membership Investment Categories and Fees

 

NYSRA offers three categories of membership:

1.  Regular Member is any person, firm or corporation operating a foodservice establishment. To apply as a Regular Member, please use our online form, email us or call our Membership Department toll free at 1-800-595-9522.  Regular Member annual dues are calculated as follows:

2.   Allied Industry Member is any person, firm, or establishment who services the restaurant/foodservice industry.  Let your clients and potential clients know you support their trade organization as it works to strengthen their position on the state and local level.

At NYSRA, we know that our Allied Members are approached to join mulitple organizations and have a limited amount of time and funding dollars available.  In recognition of these challenges, we will work with you to maximize your exposure to fellow members and provide activities that are meaningful to your marketing goals.

As an Allied Industry Member you are eligible to:

  • Participate in member benefit programs such as life,
    health, and dental insurance.
  • Receive a digital file of the NYSRA membership mailing list (of the chapters you have joined) per year at no charge.*
  • Participate in networking opportunities through chapter  membership  meetings, golf outings, and special events.
  • Receive NYSRA publications and informative mailings on the latest issues facing the foodservice industry.
  • Reach your target market by advertising in the NYSRA News, our bi-monthly member newsletter, at a discounted member rate.
  • Reach the industry's most influential people by listing the products and services you provide in NYSRA's on-line Buyer's Guide.
    * Mailing piece must be approved by NYSRA; NYSRA release form must be signed prior to receiving list.

3.      Keep Current!  Keep in contact!  Become a Student Member of the NYSRA!

 Eligibility:  A person currently attending a post-secondary educational institution enrolled in a course of study in foodservice or hospitality management.  

Cost:  $20.00 per academic year.

Benefits of Student Membership:

  • Keep Current!  Receive NYSRA publications and informative mailings to stay updated on issues affecting the food service industry.
  • Keep in Contact!  Attend your local chapter's general membership meetings, educational seminars and special events to network with those in the food service industry. 

Also, several of the local chapters award annual scholarships for students enrolled in a post-secondary food service or hospitality management program.
